I got the all clear from my doc last week. I'm still gonna need to get more work done down the road I think, but I've been out a year(so much for !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! )...I've got shit to do. I wasn't sure how long it would take me to get my mojo back, but as it turns out the hand/eye coordination never really left. The strength/stamina is another thing altogether though. After 2 surgeries on my left arm and one on my right, it looks like I have 2 toothpicks hanging from my torso.

This was literally the first weld I did in a year, so I was pretty happy:
I haven't done any !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! yet, but they're coming. I'm gonna go a little further with them, I have year of evolution to catch up on. In the meantime I've built a few frames for art, and I think I'll do some more in the future

I got a new toy to play with too, a Miller Dynasty 280DX. I'm in love. Miller came out to film last week, so there will be a handful of new videos coming to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! soon.
My blog on !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is going strong too, and if you've got any welding topics you'd like to see covered feel free to hit me up.

Hell yeah bro. Welding is quite an in demand skill in Canada these days. If you have to mind to, you could probably immigrate up here then make a bunch of dough. Just sayzin.

Great to hear you're healing up well. And not going to lie, those stacked dimes are downright amazing and are making me sooo jealous.

That Sir is Art in Welding. Beautiful.
Seriously.
And more importantly, glad you're on the mend. Hope you get back to 100% in no time.

Those welds are beautiful. And just for the record, I know a good weld when I see one and very rarely compliment them. Those are better than 90% of the welds I see on auto parts, especially aftermarket ones. Most of them have inconsistent puddles, poor penetration, and way too much speed.
Oh, and the dynasty series is pretty sweet. I would own one if I did more welding.

The print is from Max Grundy, if you are seriously interested I can get another from him and frame it as well. It would pry by about $250 plus shipping for the framed print.

Well I did just buy the wife a $250 ring (and a $200 TV and $250 sound bar so she can play video games in her sewing room), and she now knows she owes me, so I'll be in touch ;)
